A NIGHT IN THE MINES
Bedtime for a group of boys in
their sleeping bags during a
special event night in the
museum’s mining exhibition,
which is a favourite among
visitors. After an adventurous
evening featuring a guided tour,
an hour of story-telling, a
‘miner’s dinner’ and a game of
hide-and-seek, 21 children are
allowed to spend the night in
the murky tunnels and vaults.
