Preparators uncover fossil
ice age bones embedded in a
sediment bed of packed sand.
Since it was discovered in 1978,
the site yielded remains of giant
hyenas, elephants, rhinoceros,
hippopotamus, bison, cheetah,
elk, deer, saber-toothed cats,
horse, wolf, jaguar, and many
other species, including various
kinds of rodents.
