THE FIRST AMERICANS?
Life-size silicone reconstruction of
the „Mujer de Las Palmas“. The fe-
male skeleton it was modeled on was
found in 2005 in the Las Palmas
cenote; it dates back 13,000 years.
At the time of her death, the woman
was 45 to 50 years old, 5 ft tall, and
weighed 128 lb. The reconstruction
was made by Daynes Workshop in
France and is on exhibition at the
Expo Guanajuato Bicentenario park.
